1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by The Automatic Door Experts (“we”, “our”, “us”). By engaging our services, requesting a quote, or accessing our website, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
We supply, install, repair and maintain:
- Automatic sliding doors
- Automatic swinging doors
- Commercial door automation systems
- Door spare parts
- Emergency breakdown services
- Preventative maintenance services
All services are delivered in accordance with applicable Australian Standards and safety regulations.
3. Quotations & Pricing
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Pricing is provided in Australian Dollars (AUD).
- Quotes may vary if site conditions differ from those initially assessed.
- Additional work outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges.
4. Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required prior to commencement of work.
- Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Late payments may incur administrative or interest charges permitted under Australian law.
5. Installation & Site Access
The client must:
- Provide safe and clear access to the site
- Ensure structural readiness for installation
- Obtain required building approvals (if applicable)
We reserve the right to suspend work if site conditions pose safety risks.
6. Warranties
- Products supplied are covered under manufacturer warranty terms.
- Installation workmanship is warranted for a specified period (e.g., 12 months) from completion.
- Warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, vandalism, or unauthorised modifications.
7. Maintenance & Service
Regular servicing is recommended to maintain safety compliance and warranty validity. We are not liable for damage resulting from lack of maintenance.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
- Our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of defective goods or services.
Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
9. Cancellations
- Cancellation after acceptance of quote may incur costs for materials ordered and labour scheduled.
- Custom-manufactured products are non-refundable once production has commenced.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the applicable State or Territory where services are provided.
